Join us every third Saturday from February through May for ArtLab for All at the Villager Cafe!

These hands-on, collaborative ArtLabs invite participants to explore the intersection of image and text through playful, creative prompts. Using a variety of mark-making materials, you’ll experiment with color, line, and illustrated words while discovering new connections between imagery and language.

Open to all ages, ArtLab for All encourages individuals and families to explore materials and transform ideas into original works of art, guided by CMCA Education’s approach to adventurous, curiosity-driven creativity.

Dedicated to promoting dynamic engagement with contemporary art and artists, the Center for Maine Contemporary Art offers programs that fuel the imagination, stimulate forward thinking and cultivate conversation.

Photography Policy: By participating in ArtLab programming, I understand my child or myself may be photographed by CMCA staff and Midcoast Villager staff for general documentation and publicity. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
